MEET THE RESIDENTS
On Sunday, March 6th, 2022 at 8pm…
EOWtv unveiled season one of a new live music series with our new “Household Names”.
After more than two decades, we invited three residents to join the family for the first time and they’re bringing new friends every week! Nejma Nefertiti will be kicking in the door and setting the pace the first Sunday of the month from March through May. Intell, from 2nd Generation Wu, takes the second Sundays repping another intergenerational and international hip-hop organization!
The third Sunday of the month, we had EOW legacy, Double AB, bringing it all together. In an effort to continue advocating for hip-hop artists as Vice Verses would have wanted, we invited these talented and deserving artists into our home to have an immersive Dub experience. We invite YOU to come sit at the table. We’re saving you a seat.
Nejma Nefertiti is a Brooklyn-based Hip Hop artist and a daughter of many lands, from Iran, to North Africa, to Indigenous America.
She is an Art Equals Politics, social justice educator, utilizing Hip Hop and technology as cultural weapons to empower, uplift, inspire, and unite, both youth and elders, the oppressed, and for the freedom of all political prisoners.
She has performed in places such as The Kennedy Center, SOB’s, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, The Blue Note Jazz Club, and The Apache Cafe.
